Meet Jack & John
John F. Logsdon
John F. Logsdon, grandfather to Jack Christopher, passed away abruptly at 62 due to a sudden Cardiac Arrest, June 6, 2018. His greatest joy was his family, and he was extremely proud of his children. He loved all music, having played many instruments, loved to sing and enjoyed jamming with his brother and many friends. He loved history, watching documentaries, and proudly supported the Wounded Warrior Project. He loved all sports, especially playing golf with his son and friends from school.
Jack C. Nelson
Jack Christopher Nelson arrived on December 22, 2013. The first child for his parents, Kyle and Emily Nelson, he was a happy and healthy baby and loved to show off his smile. He brought good luck to the Seattle Seahawks and slept through many playoff games. Jack passed away unexpectedly during a nap at daycare on March 21, 2014. The diagnosis was Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). SIDS is the sudden and unexplained death of an infant younger than one year old and is the leading cause of death among infants one month to one year old in the United States. With the family devastated, lost, and wondering what could have been done differently, the only question remaining was “why?”. Their hope continues through bringing awareness and helping promote SIDS research.
